Joe is constantly reminding me of why I like having my camera with me, always.
I keep thinking of this Diane Arbus image...
Mind you, I am not comparing myself to her. At all. Like, at all. But I think this kid and Joe would have caused some trouble together.

Melanie, they really are the same image, the lopsided torso (look at the ribs, the shoulderstrap), one hand tense and ready to move, the other holding something curious. And the face saying "hey i am older than i look, i can hurt you". Its a classic Mel. I love you, always, dad.
